Unlike its predecessor, Microsoft's Xbox 360 is bringing in some serious cash. Microsoft recorded record revenues for the three months ending December 31, 2006. The company's Entertainment and Devices Division (which includes Xbox 360 and the newly-released Zune) brought in $2.94 billion, a 76 percent rise in revenue over the same three-month period last year. Despite the healthy revenue stream, the division suffered a net loss of $286 million, equivalent to the same losses suffered the year prior.

BioShock Xbox and PC Version to ship in June. This according to 1Up, they claim to have received official confirmation form 2KGames that the title will ship sometime in June of 2007. It's already shaping up to be one heck of a summer in the gaming industry. However don't be SHOCKED if BioShock is pushed back to say August or September.

2K Games confirmed that "BioShock," a revolution in the genre that will forever change the expectations for first-person shooters, will be released exclusively on Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows next spring.
Innovative Shooter Wins 17 Awards and is Nominated for Four Best of Show E3 Game Critics Awards. 2K, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. announced today that BioShock has received multiple nominations in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) Game Critics Awards and to date has won 17 E3 awards including a sweep of Best of Show awards from IGN, GameSpot, and GameSpy. BioShock is an innovative shooter in development at Irrational Games, a wholly owned 2K studio. BioShock will be available for next generation systems in 2007.
