It seems like just yesterday we were playing Bionic Commando on our NES. But it was actually last week, because we at the GR offices love us some Bionic Commando, whether we’re playing with an expensive prop or beating other gaming journalists for a kick-ass lunch box.
And it seems even yesterdaier that the next-gen return of BC was announced. But the much anticipated title is just days away.
Shacknews writes: The $5 price hike for the PC edition of GRIN's downloadable platformer Bionic Commando has nothing to do with Piracy concerns, Capcom business development and strategic planning VP Christian Svensson has informed Shacknews. Though the title will sell for $9.99 when it hits consoles next week, Svensson explained that the $14.99 price for the PC version, also due next week, stems from different business terms/expectations in that sector. He added that the typical downloadable price for digital-only games on PC is actually $19.99.
Capcom has published its sales target for upcoming titles. Resident Evil 5 sales are expected to reach 2.3 million units.
Capcom has given up its list of what's in store for E3 next month in LA. But while most of what's on offer was a given anyway, the publisher has said there'll be two unannounced games on the show floor for the first time.
What they might be, we don't know. But a Dead Rising sequel's been on the cards for a while now. Maybe that'll turn up?
Anyway, here's the list, via IGN:

Eurogamer writes: Bionic Commando producer Ben Judd has told Eurogamer to expect elements of the re-imagined XBLA, PSN and PC game, Bionic Commando Rearmed, to fill out the back-story of next year's 3D game. We intentionally put in some nuggets in the story that later tie into the 3D version, Judd told Eurogamer. You'll talk to some characters that will ask Spencer about his wife and he'll say, 'my wife left me, I don't why she left me - maybe she just couldn't handle a military man and that lifestyle'.
CVG reports: The first details of Bionic Commando's multiplayer mode have emerged from a Capcom event in Las Vegas, and obviously swinging features heavily (ahem). Whilst traditional deathmatch and capture-the-flag modes will be featured, multiplayer will be based around the gameplay mechanics that the bionic arm and grapple create.
With Bionic Commando and its prequel, Bionic Commando Rearmed, both on the way to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the folks at Capcom thought that it might be a good idea to tie the two games together a little more closely than they're already doing. And so, to that end they're creating an official webcomic known as Bionic Commando: Chain of Command. According to The Bionic Commando Newswire, the comic will be updated on a weekly basis every Wednesday.
While interviewing Capcom Producer Ben Judd for our Bionic Commando: Rearmed preview today,1up learned that not all versions of this hearty downloadable remake of the NES classic are being created equal. When the game hits this spring, the PlayStation Network version (as well as the PC incarnation) will have higher-res textures than the Xbox Live Arcade version. Blame Live Arcade's 150MB limit on file sizes, Judd explained.
The arcade build of Street Fighter IV - the same as that being shown at this week's AOU show in Japan - is to be shown at GDC next week, VG247 can confirm. The game will be playable. In addition, both the 3D, next-gen remake Bionic Commando and the anticipated XBLA remake Bionic Commando Rearmed are to be shown. The former will be demoed, but will not be playable. The latter is likely to be playable, but hasn't been confirmed just yet.
