Two games in particular, Battlefield Heroes and Need for Speed World, each reached 10 million earlier in the month, while games like Battlefield Play4Free, Dragon Age Legends, Battleforge, and Lord of Ultima brought the grand total to that 25 million mentioned earlier."

Electronic Arts' Origin platform, launched in early June, already serves a daily userbase of five million and counting, says Peter Moore. EA's latest promotion for Battlefield 3 pits fans against each other for the chance to play the game ahead of launch in their city by voting to “demand” it. Working in conjunction with Hollywood's Relativity Media and event-promo site Eventful, EA will also offer Battlefield fans from the winning city an exclusive preview of the feature film, Act of Valor. thing might be sticking around. EA has announced a deal with Aeria Games,
publisher of Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine and WolfTeam, to bring EA’s selection
of free-to-play games to their network. It’s going to start with Battlefield
Heroes and continue with Need for Speed World, bringing EA’s Play4Free games to
an even wider audience...
DSOGaming writes: EA announced that a new map for their free-to-play third-person cartoon-ish shooter will be released later this month. This map is the Wake Island, one of Battlefield franchises most popular maps. Moreover, players who login till July 8th will receive two free Party Packs.
Battlefield Heroes staff are currently investigating an apparent security breach related to their free-to-play Battlefield Heroes franchise. They are working to identify which accounts were affected and will take all precautions to ensure those players are notified as quickly as possible. They apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have the game back online shortly.
