Raymond says "no" to Assassin's Creed demo

Sandbox games don't lend themselves to demos, says producer

The latest video interview with Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond has brought some devastating news for anyone hoping to get their hands on a demo of the medieval sneak-'em-up.

With the game about one month away from release, there'll be no playable demo beaming its way through the pipes of PSN or Marketplace.

Raymond explained that as Assassin's Creed is a sandbox game, it's too difficult to pick a portion to give away and let players experience it.

She also points out that similar sandbox titles like Grand Theft Auto don't use demos either, reports 1UP.com.
