Today Ubisoft announced its highly anticipated Assassin's Creed video game has gone "gold" and is set to launch in North America on November 13, 2007. The game is arriving on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 at the manufacturer suggested retail price of $59.99 with the Limited Edition priced at $69.99 ¿ rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB. In addition, those who pre-order Assassin's Creed at GameStop will receive an exclusive Assassin's Creed art book bonus when they pick up their game.
As part of London Games Festival, Jade Raymond, Producer for Assassins Creed by Ubisoft, is set to make a special appearance at HMV's flagship store on Oxford Street, London this Saturday 27th October. New levels from the latest version of the game will be presented at this one off event in anticipation for the release of the game next month.

Apparently the guy who came forward on the current issues facing assassin's creed for the xbox 360 and the ps3 has at least withdrawn his statement for the 360 now claiming "There's no problem anymore".? This was apparently after receiving a phone call from Jade Raymond.

The developer behind Assassin's Creed has revealed 2 problems. 1) Playstation 3 memory is causing problems and 2) Xbox 360 version is struggling to fit on a 360 DVD.

Jade Raymond said that Ubisoft has been pushing play tests for the past few months and the average length has been around 18 hours by just doing the core missions and over 40 hours if you decide to do some exploring.
