APB

Also known as: All Points Bulletin

The game might dole out guns and free vehicles but it also takes away the most necessary attribute of any MMO: incentive to actually play the thing. San Paro is a PvP gangland with no levels, no talent trees, no story, no territory to claim or any legitimate war between Enforcers and Criminals beyond its shoot-and-drive missions.

The character art for this game looks like it was made by people who watch too much mtv or bet and think gold chains and shiny wheels are cool and that 50cents and eminems are tough guys.

Jun 16, 2010
There's a lot to say about the giant multiplayer shooter APB, but what caught our eyes was the character creation - the completely insane character creation. Realtime Worlds has gone totally over the top. Here's a short (and by no means complete) rundown... » Read Full APB preview

Could it make the possibility of a GTA MMO irrelevant?
May 20, 2010
This MMO is a lot of things, but right now it’s a remake of Heat, as performed by The Muppets. It all began five minutes ago as we casually hung around outside a parking garage as our colleagues stole a van up on the third floor. When they drove off a conveniently placed ramp and tilted delightfully downward into the midriff of a passing pedestrian, an APB was called out on us... » Read Full APB preview

Dave Jones’ initials are tattooed across our nipples. We have a mullet, a moustache, aviator shades and a belly that arrives in a room a few seconds before we do. “Players are going to have to think very carefully about who they want to be,” Jones tells us. “You can be a psycho, quiet, on-the-streets kind of killer." » Read Full APB preview

So while the world holds its breath for Stuck in the Mud Online we’ll have to make do with APB – a near-perfect recreation of Cops and Robbers. » Read Full APB preview
