Wanted: Monsters to haunt Alan Wake

More screens released, but the horrors are still in hiding

New Alan Wake screenshots are upon us and - as if there was any doubt - they are so beautiful we want to cry. Yet as stunning as the sunsets and panoramas of Bright Falls are, we've seen them all before.

Conspicuously absent on the other hand are the ghoulish nightmares that alledgedly roam its streets at night. Much has been made of Alan's Silent Hill reminiscent reliance on a flashlight to save him from the horrors, but at the moment all he seems to have found are ghost stories. Not that any of this stopped us from crying you understand.
