One thing is certain. Alan Wake the horror novelist leans heavily on his copy editor. On Remedy's official Alan Wake forums, the community manager posted some text taken from the long-awaited horror game. The post is a positive sign that Alan Wake is still on the way.

A Super Mod on the Alan Wake.com forums made an announcement on 4/6/08 that the media blackout of Alan Wake would not be Lasting much longer.
Statements from the Official Alan Wake boards clarify that claims of a September release and media speculation is nothing more than a "bogus claim."
In case you haven't heard, Alan Wake is a psychological action thriller from Remedy, the developer of successful titles including Max Payne and Max Payne 2. The game is due for the Xbox 360 and PC - and has been re-confirmed once again for September 2008.
