New screens from Aion: Tower of Eternity

Latest visions of fantasy CryEngine MMO

We admit to raising an eyebrow upon learning that NCSoft is using a modified version of Crtek's CryEngine for its MMO Aion. It's looking... interesting in new screenshots, and we had to try really hard to spot anything sneaking out of a jungle environment.

Aion: Tower of Eternity takes you to the world of Aion where three factions are battering the crap out of each other. Two of the factions are populated by players while the third will be controlled by the server. Supposedly, actions committed by factions will eventually trigger consequences which affect the live environment on game servers.

To see the rest of the new screens, along with our archive of images, click the Images tab at the top of the page. There's no offical release date for Aion as yet.
