Speaking to IncGamers today, NCSoft has confirmed that their MMORPG will be released this September. Final dates have now been set for both the US and European release of the game.
With only two days to go before the next leg of the Aion beta (aka CBT2), CM Ayase has posted more information on this weekend's event but also gone into a little more detail about the on-going beta. However he also mentions what amount to the briefest of build notes letting you know about changes such as sever queues, NPCs fixes and 'culturalized content' specifically for Asmodians.
BrutalGamer.com writes: Speculation is rippling around the interwebs tonight as a juicy tid-bit of info was discovered by Massively that sugest that the new title from NC Soft will make it's much mooted Summer deadline.
It's seems everyone and their best friend was playing Aion this weekend, including most of Team Massively. The closed beta test (CBT) ended in the wee small hours of this morning with gamers providing plenty of feedback via the official forums. It wasn't too long before EU CM Ayase nipped posted an announcement regarding the next phase of testing which will see players becoming Asmodians.
Aion has its first beta phase preview from June 5 to June 7. Also detailed behind the jump: the collector's edition, and class previews.

A new batch of screenshots for the upcoming MMO 'Aion - Tower of Eternity' has been released today.
NCSoft has released a new video showing off the Poeta zone in its highly anticipated MMO, Aion.
In an open letter to fans, NCsoft Community Manager Lani "Liv" Blazier confirms the MMO 'AION' is due for release in Europe and North America in the Autumn of 2009.
Worlds.com filed suit against NCSoft for copyright infringement on Christmas Eve. Two patents filed in 2000 by Worlds.com involving scalable chat and enabling users to interact with each other in virtual space are all infringed upon by NCSoft's games(Including City of Heroes, Aion, Tabula Rasa, Guild Wars, etc).
It looks like Korea is really digging the Aion beta as NCsoft has been forced to add 25 new servers to handle the load produced by the initial crush of users and even that hasn't helped lower the wait time by much. The game looks to be tracking for it's release in 2009 and it's certainly one of the prettiest looking MMO's out there but it will be interesting to see if the game can make any dent in the World of Warcraft hegemony.
Aion: Tower of Eternity is drawing closer to Open Beta, and there's a growing hunger for information. An ingenious and generous person by the name of Hellrose over at Aionsource.com has translated some information on the Twelve Lords of Legend, directly from the game's Korean site.
