GameHi, Inc has announced a worldwide update for their free-to-play MMORPG Dekaron, known in North America as 2Moons. The patch, ominously titled It's a Good Day to Die, looks to add a wealth of content including the DK Square System, the Trans Up Quest, and the Land of the Dead map.

Gametribe.com, the premier destination for Free-to-Play games is pleased to announce that their Action-based MMORPG Dekaron has today received it first free expansion pack, Action 4: The Expedition. This update brings with it a whole host of new content including The Expedition, new dungeons, Party Vs Party Battle System, Skills and Item Enchantment system along with all new Potions and 2 amazing new Pets. In total Action 4: The Expedition adds in up to 20% of brand new game content into Dekaron. David Perry, previously of Matrix-developer Shiny and now of the reborn Acclaim, has told videogaming247 that he believes the MMO space is led by an extremely nerdy game in World of Warcraft and that an attitude shift is needed for the genre to break out into the mainstream proper. I believe there's a 70 million player MMO idea and no one's done it yet because we haven't got anyone that's thinking down the Will Wright path, he said. There's people that get close. There's people that do Club Penguin, or Maple Story, games that are more simple to play, and people like Disney buy them for $500-$600 million and no one bats an eyelid and everyone goes off and makes another Bioshock.

Recently resurrected publisher Acclaim has released the first details of 2Moons - a new MMORPG for PCs, which is being worked on by Earthworm Jim and Enter The Matrix developer, Dave Perry. Based on an existing MMORPG called Dekaron - which is already a success in Korea - Acclaim has drafted in Perry to work alongside Dekaron's developer, GameHi, to specifically tailor 2Moons for the tastes of Western gamers. Acclaim sent out a press release announcing 2Moons, their upcoming and reportedly highly violent free fantasy MMORPG that will have the involvement of former Shiny founder Dave Perry. The 2Moons Homepage is accepting sign-ups to beta test the project.
