PC Review
Oddfish, this Savage game: it tastes just like an online FPS, with third-person elements, but there's a strange smell about the place. It's almost as if... there's some real-time strategy going on. For the beginner, Savage is a disconcerting experience: just what is this strategy element? Where is it coming from? What does it mean? And whose orders am I completely ignoring? Important questions indeed.Perplexingly, these are questions that remain unanswered by the game itself. There is no ...

Savage 2: A Tortured Soul desperately tries to deliver a new kind of game where real-time strategy and first-person action get it on to provide the ultimate new two-in-one genre combo. Unfortunately, its multi-genre elements dont always get along, and playing the game will sometimes make you feel like youre watching your mom and dad fight. To be fair, Savage 2 has smoothed out a ton of the rough spots since developer, S2 Games took their first stab at creating a Frankenstein game thats one ...

Bike games are hard. Finding the inch-perfect line every time, keeping it on the black stuff and shiny side up amidst a field of amazing riders while juggling brake balance, lean angle and rider weight is a demanding prospect for even the most experienced gamer. However, although were all for being eased into a game, SBKs Arcade mode offers so much assistance that you can ride at full lean, at full throttle on the gravel without getting asphalt in your face. By way of contrast, the full-on ...

PSP Review
After a long night on your console dealing out death and dismemberment as not-dead-even-though-he-took-a-bullet-to-the-back Tony Montana, that worn-out trigger finger likely needs a rest. Enter the PSP iteration of the new Scarface game. Rather than being a pint-sized Vice City Stories-style shoot 'em-up, Vivendi leaves open-world chaos behind and heads towards (get this) turn-based strategy on the streets of Miami. Though it hits a few marks here and there, Tony and company ultimately lack ...

Wii Review
Last year, Scarface: The World Is Yours caught just about everyone by surprise. It turned out to be a damn good game, sold like crazy (having moved over two million PS2 and Xbox copies to date), and set a world record for the most profanity and drug trafficking in video game history. Continuing with the didnt-see-that-coming approach, Vivendi has now released the hyperviolent and decidedly non-family-friendly game on the happiest console on the planet – Nintendos ...

Xbox Review
Everyone always knew Tony Montana was one tough hombre - but strong enough to survive the famous attack on his mansion? Last time we saw the Cuban drug lord, he was knee deep in blow and bullets, and his life appeared to be finito. However, in Scarface: The World Is Yours, our antihero has emerged none the worse for wear. He's as bad-ass as ever: a coke-dealing, woman-chasing, f-bomb-dropping son of a bitch hell-bent on reclaiming what he feels is still ...

360 - Scene It? Box Office Smash - Scene It? Box Office Smash

Another Christmas, another quiz game. Scene It?’s 2007 leap from board game to virtual toy wasn’t quite up to Buzz’s often lofty standards, but marked a promising foray into the genre for Microsoft nonetheless. Now that it’s backed up by casual titles Lips and You’re in the Movies the movie quiz’s second outing is a much stronger prospect than before. ...

Scene It? You probably have. It's a popular media-based trivia board game that's been available for years in numerous different editions. Even some On Demand cable plans have a free version. So what makes the Xbox 360 version special? Well for one, Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action has all new controllers for that ass. These little plastic pollywogs [bottom right] may not look like much, but remember: they're designed exclusively for this game, and more importantly, to work on an actual game ...

360 - Schizoid - Xbox Live Arcade - Schizoid - Xbox Live Arcade

Sometimes the simple ideas are the best ones, and they really don’t get much more basic than this. Depending on the difficulty you control either one or two ships with the analogue sticks and must swallow enemies of the same colour while dodging the rest. ...
