360 Review
We had such high hopes for Ninety-Nine Nights, but sadly, this game bores us on an unacceptable number of levels. A tedious slog through an admittedly amazing number of on-screen foes, Ninety-Nine Nights lacks anything in the way of innovation or inspired design. Instead, you get a veritable Jessica Simpson of gameplay - a completely vacuous, albeit staggeringly beautiful ...

Xbox Review
The movement is the first thing you'll notice. There's no need to discuss the control scheme, because every button you press will do exactly what you expect it to - or what you would expect it to if you ever stepped out of the flow to bother analysing what you're so instinctively doing. There's none of the Prince of Persia's flamboyance here. Instead Ryu effortlessly executes the same wall springs, back flips and handstands with his own cold, muscular precision. Gaiden is built on the same ...

DS Review
Up until now, holding the DS sideways like a book has triggered images of brainy minigames or self-help software meant for mommy dearest. After spending five chaotic hours with Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, it's now become synonymous with nut-busting action on par with Devil May Cry or God of War.Developer Team Ninja has seemingly done the impossible - create an adrenaline-drenched action title that's totally stylus driven. Slashing an enemy with ...

360 Review

Ninja Gaiden 2 is the first game all over again, only faster and with a fancy new combat feature where you can hack off enemy limbs and execute elaborate finishing moves that differ from weapon to weapon. It’s every bit as hard as its predecessor and then some with two unlockable difficulty levels in addition to the two defaults. The only problem is that Ninja Gaiden 2 looks just like Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the PS3 with barely any ...

PS3 Review
By now you should all know the story behind Ninja Gaiden Sigma on PS3. You should know that it's a remake of one of the best games on Microsoft's big black box. You should know that tons of new stuff has been added and you should also be aware that it's all been wrapped up in bright sparkling HD graphics that only PS3 can do. If you liked the idea of Genji: Days of the Blade but were disappointed that the game sucked, we guarantee that Sigma will plug that gap. As well as a complete graphical ...

Wii Review
Wii - Ninja Reflex - Ninja Reflex Ninja Reflex is basically the ninja equivalent of Wii Sports: six minigames in which you and your friends energetically wave and point Wii remotes in order to swing swords, hurl throwing stars, and do whatever else it is that ninjas do. The katana challenge transforms the Wii remote into a sword. You yank the controller sideways or lift it above your head to parry attacks, and then you give it a quick shake to finish off the warrior ...

DS Review
For the most part, the Nintendo DS version of Ninja Reflex is identical to its Wii sibling - which is to say, they're both shamefully sparse. All six - not twenty-six, not forty-six, but just six - ninja-themed minigames from the Wii release made it into the DS cartridge. On top of that, the gorgeous Japanese inspired graphics and goofy spoken dialogue survived the transition pretty much intact. Other than the fact that there should be far more ...

PC - Ninja Reflex: Steamworks Edition - Ninja Reflex: Steamworks Edition

Let’s play What If. What if Mr. Miyagi hadn’t been grooming the Karate Kid to win a martial arts tournament, but to clean cars really, really well? How about if in The Matrix, Morpheus had taken Neo into the virtual dojo to learn the calming benefits of yoga rather than showing him how to deliver kicks to the face?Soul-sapping dullness? Correct!

Ninja Reflex consists of six minigames that never get round to letting you be a ...

Wii Review
Nov 8, 2007 Great name! If only somebody with a bigger budget had thought of it first. While we love the concept of a ginger ninja terrorizing the cake shop, the only thing this game has really got going for it is the lead character. It's a bog-standard 3D platformer with incredibly horrid controls. Simply getting the sugary hero to land on a platform is no mean feat, as he'll often slide right off the other side or fail to jump high enough because he hit a sticky wall. It's an opportunity ...

DS - Ninjatown - Ninjatown

Based on the website and adorable plush toy line of the same name, Ninjatown is a Real-time strategy game about a town of Ninjas out to defend themselves and their way of life from invading devils. Ol' Master Ninja heads the forces of good, directing the residents on how to deflect the invaders from his hot air balloon. ...
