The April issue of Game Informer reveals that Pandemic is working on a stealth action game set during World War II. Details are still slim but the game will be called Saboteur.

Saboteur is the title of a World War II game in development at Pandemic Studios that focuses on the French Resistance's fight against Nazi occupation. Bluesnews: "An English language demo for Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, following the recent German sample of ASCARON Entertainment's action/RPG prequel (story). Sacred 2 was recently declared gold (story), and is expected in stores soon. The demo includes one of the game's six playablwe characters, one of its 12 regions, several quests, anfd the ability to advance your character to level 10. Eurogamer writes: "Koch has clarified to Eurogamer that Sacred 2 will launch on 7th November across all three platforms: PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Confusingly, only the latter was given that date after being confirmed as a playable platform back in June.

Sacred 2, then, is an action RPG set in a fantasy land and isometric view, a bit like Diablo. In fact, the similarities continue into the button-bashing combat and abilities and skills that improve as a result of the hordes you slaughter."

Danish site Xboxlife.dk has got ten new screenshots of Ascaron RPG Sacred 2, and they look horrid.

The game is scheduled for a Q3 release.

Ascaron Entertainment, makers of Sacred, probably won't be making playable demonstrations of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel as an exclusive gig at the Leipzig Convention anymore. The news on the press waves is the cdv Software Entertainment, the new publishers of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, has announced that a playable version of the much awaited RPG sequel will be present at 2008's Game Developers Conference. Jan 2, 2008 Hack 'n' slash RPG sequel Sacred 2: Fallen Angel has been delayed to September 2008. Originally, the game was set to release on PC and Xbox 360 in Q1 this year. The developers of Sacred 2 ¿ Fallen Angel has announced on the official site that the game will be released in September 2008 instead of March.

"An extension of the development process was necessary in order to ensure that we realize all the development plans and ship both PC and Xbox 360 versions with the best possible quality and stability.

A game as complex as Sacred 2 ¿ Fallen Angel, with its many technical innovations, requires extensive testing and balancing in all areas. In certain areas of development we often had to make our way into uncharted territory when it came to implementing the new technologies which are required to make Sacred 2 ¿ Fallen Angel the game that we set out to make. Sacred 2 Gets Support from Blind Guardian (Sacred 2: Fallen Angel)

Soon Blind Guardian fans can admire their heroes as computer game characters. As part of a unique cooperation with Ascaron Entertainment the fantasy metal rockers will have a guest appearance in the PC and Xbox 360 title Sacred 2 ¿ Fallen Angel.

Nibris has finally locked down a release date for Wii-exclusive Sadness. According to the game's website, the "planned delivery date" is now autumn 2009.

For those who aren't familiar, it's a survival horror game with a film noire feel. Nibris has taken inspiration from Planescape: Torment and Eternal Darkness, and the emphasis is on suspense and atmosphere rather than blood and guts.
