Capcom is beating its chest to the rhythm of two million sales. In total, the Devil May Cry series has shipped over nine million units worldwide as of this February and has "become a banner franchise for Capcom". Sony shares jumped by five percent based on optimism over future sales of the firm's PS3 and Blu-ray players. This followed yesterday's news that Toshiba had officially switched off the life-support machine for HD-DVD.
