Wii News from N4G | Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Too good to be true: Wal-Mart cancels Brawl preorders Wii Fanboy writes:

"Disaster!

Just as we assumed, the epic Super Smash Bros. Brawl preorder deal we featured this morning was a total boner on Wal-Mart's part, as evidenced by the now-missing product page. But instead of honoring the $19.82 price for anyone who ordered the game before its listing was pulled -- like we all hoped the retail giant would do, despite our usual pessimism -- Wal-Mart has canceled the reservations, presumably refunding all charges."

PS3 News from N4G | Haze
PS3 - Haze - Free Radical comments on Haze delay Free Radical, developers of Haze, write on their blog:

Soooo, Haze is delayed. But you already know that, don't you. Well, the simple fact of the matter is, any delay on a game is a good thing - it's more time to optimize and polish and tweak and generally improve the whole damn thing to the Nth degree. Now, I know that some of you patient folks out there will be bitterly disappointed. Some of you may even want to come to my house and smash a colostomy bag over my head, and I think most people would understand that sentiment, but believe when I say that the delay is the best possible thing for the game. Hell, the reason why you guys are so pumped about it is because you have high expectations, and we need just a little more time to make sure that we meet them. So in conclusion, rest easy - we're still slugging away on this badboy.

In other news, this week has seen several drafts and redrafts of the TimeSplitters 4 story outline being pulled around to see what sticks. As of today we might - MIGHT - have settled on something. Time will tell.

For the record, this blog is dedicated to the guys on the forums that noticed that I hadn't written one for a while. I didn't think anyone was reading this little thing.

"Our estimate is that both these maps should be out within the next 2 months," Valve employee Robin Walker told Shacknews. "We expect to ship other new content before that."

PS3 - Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - PS3 Lost Planet Gets Luka as an Exclusive Playable Character Gaming Today writes:

"I guess Capcom is looking for a way to entice PS3 owners who haven't played Lost Planet yet on either the Xbox 360 or PC. The PS3 version of the game will allow you to play as Luka, the female lead from the game. Yeah, not the greatest bonus character ever, that's for sure. Especially when there's already pantsless Frank West and Mega Man available as playable characters. No word yet on if she lives on the second floor, upstairs from you."
