PS2 News | Yakuza
The Yakuza publicity machine is starting to stir as E3 approaches, and we've gotten our hands on the first US trailer of the game. While what we've seen of Yakuza thus far has shown us a world of urban wandering and random beatings, the trailer promises a much more action-heavy experience, all swordfights and gun battles and explosions. Click the Movies tab above and check out footage of Yakuza's anti-hero, Kiryu Kazuma, waging a one-man battle against his rivals in Tokyo's criminal ...

PSP News | Ultimate Ghosts 'n' Goblins
The first time we played Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins, it threw us for a loop (as noted in our preview). Put simply, this is one of the best-looking, best-playing PSP games we've seen so far, and it's packed with enough new features to keep old-school fans from feeling they've done it all before. To give you another look at the monsters and hazards you'll face as Sir Arthur this September, we've tossed up a few new screens for your perusal. Click the thumbnails at lower right for a closer ...

PC News | World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft owners will be able to request a transfer to a different realm for their character, according to an official Blizzard statement in the WoW forums. The system will go live this summer, and will require you to pay a fee for each character transferred. Realms are the names for the particular server that you connect to, with each area of the globe having a certain number of realms for you to choose from. Transferring between these realms is possible now, but only as part of a ...

PS2 News | Rogue Galaxy
RPG fans will get another cel-shaded adventure this October, but Rogue Galaxy isn't quite the sword-and-sorcery slasher they might be expecting. You'll use swords, sure, and there's plenty of magic, but how many fantasy games send you to the stars to search for treasure with space pirates? We've already covered the major bases in our preview, but the brand-new trailer from Sony completes the picture. Just click on the Movies tab above, and you'll get a full-motion introduction to young pirate ...

PSP News | Dead Head Fred
D3Publisher today announced Dead Head Fred, an action game for the PSP due out early next year. The title - which, amazingly enough, has nothing to do with hippies - will be on display at E3 next week, and will showcase the first hero to not only sever the noggins of his enemies, but to use them to grant himself new abilities. Taking place in a film-noir alternate universe, Dead Head Fred puts players in control of Fred Neuman, a private eye who gets murdered and then resurrected as a headless ...

360 News | Alone in the Dark
Some new details on the upcoming episode of Alone in the Dark surfaced yesterday, along with a trailer and a handful of new screens... but sadly, not even the barest of hints at a release date. The newest game in a series that defined the survival-horror genre before it even had a name proposes another first for game structure by focusing on episodic ...

PC News | Reservoir Dogs
Reservoir Dogs the game, based on Quentin Tarantino's classic '90s film, is to be released for Xbox, PS2 and PC this fall, publisher Eidos confirmed today. The third-person shooter will stay true to the chronology and plot of the diamond-heist-gone-wrong film, while trying to fill in the gaps that the film doesn't cover, such as: what really went on at the heist? What happened to Mr. Blue and Mr. Brown? And perhaps it will clear up once and for all who shot Nice Guy Eddie. While gameplay ...

PSP News | BattleZone
In yet another case of mining the past for modern-day hits, Atari today announced that it's resurrecting BattleZone for the PSP. The new title is a remake of the 1980 tank game, which wowed arcade rats with then-revolutionary 3D wireframe graphics and a look-into-goggles-to-see-the-screen ...
