PS2 News | WWE SmackDown! vs RAW 2006
Friday 31 March 2006 The fourth annual WWE Superstar Challenge, held in Chicago yesterday, saw Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin emerge victorious, continuing his stranglehold on the annual SmackDown! vs Raw videogame tournament run by publisher THQ. Benjamin has won every previous competition - which pits the real-life WWE stars against each other in THQ's official game - and it was the same old story as he overcame MNM member Johnny Nitro in the final in Chicago. Before the ...

360 News | Halo 3
Friday 31 March 2006 Halo 3 is due for release in March 2007, according to a pair of sources close to Microsoft. Given Bungie's painstaking approach to development, and the tremendous lifespan of pre-release promotion that MS can wring out of the game, a 2006 launch date is looking nigh-on implausible, so this mooted ETA is no surprise. Does it really matter precisely when it may come out in 2007, though? As long as Microsoft has something to reveal at E3 - even if it's simply words, not ...

PS3 News | PlayStation 3
Phil Harrison, Sony's head of worldwide studios, is plump with confidence regarding PlayStation Network Platform, the online aspect of the PS3. "We are the pre-eminent brand for interactive entertainment worldwide. We have a reach and a market share that dwarfs our competition. Now, maybe in the US it's not such a runaway leadership - Microsoft is definitely a more vigorous competitor there than anywhere else in the world - but in some countries, PlayStation is the videogame business," he told ...

Wii News | Wii
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has voiced his concerns over the high prices that publishers are charging for the first wave of Xbox 360 games, and claims he doesn't envision the same steep price tag being carried by Nintendo's titles for its Revolution.
