PS3 - Valkyria Chronicles - Valkyria Chronicles, Alpha Protocol get more solid release dates PS3 Fanboy writes: Sega has a pretty big list of games in production. Their espionage title, Alpha Protocol, was recently slapped with a February 2009 release date. That means it's going up against Killzone 2. Their other high-profile title, Valkyria Chronicles, got a release date of November 2008.

PS3 - Valkyria Chronicles - Optional Hard Disk Install For Valkyria Chronicles According to Impress Watch, Valkyria offer players the option for a hard disk install. The install takes up 3,336 MB and apparently cuts down load times from the 15 second waits players would otherwise have to sit through when opting to play directly from disc.

As with last month's Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan install, this install is strictly optional, so those who can't find enough space on their hard disk will still be able to play.

PS3 - Valkyria Chronicles - Valkyria Chronicles was originally an Xbox 360 exclusive According to a Japanese developer blog the game Valkyria Chronicles was originally planned as an Xbox 360 exclusive game. When the game was announced however, development had already switched to the Playstation 3 platform. According to publisher SEGA the game has been in development for over three years, and had switched platform early on in development. The exact reason why the developer switched to Playstation 3 was not mentioned.

Valkyria Chronicles is currently slated to hit store shelves this Fall exclusively on Playstation 3.
