In Japan, the Xbox platform has traditionally been the one of choice for many otaku. As Dead or Alive creator Tomonobu Itagaki pointed out, nobody in Japan buys an Xbox on accident.

Not that she needs to earn any more geek cred, but last month she bought an Xbox 360 to play Tales of Vesperia on. She wasn't alone! Lots of Japanese people bought an Xbox 360 for that game.

360 - Tales of Vesperia - Tales Of Vesperia Anime Announced Not only is Tales of Vesperia getting a PS3 version, the role-playing-game is also getting a big screen version.

Namco Bandai announced today that Tales of Vesperia will also be getting an anime called Tales of Vesperia ?The First Strike ?. It will hit Japanese theaters sometime later this year.

This isn't a first for the series as previously, Namco has released animated versions of its Tales of franchise.

360 - Tales of Vesperia - European Tales of Vesperia Might Have Dual Audio A news post on Xbox 360 Spain has sparked a rumor that Tales of Vesperia's European release will have dual-audio (Japanese/English), along with sub-titles in Spanish (which signifies each language will get their own translations of the script).

Tales Union looks into how this might affect the North American version, which had the Japanese vocals in the anime cutscenes, but was unreachable outside of viewing the extracting scenes on a computer.
