Silverlorde Interactive announced this morning that it has opened its servers to all players for SAGA, the persistent World MMORTS. The first open beta test client can now be downloaded from Strategy Informer.
MMORPG Center has teamed up with Silverlode Interactive to bring you an exciting contest for SAGA! From Feb 1 2008 to Feb 14 2008, MMORPG Center will accept player-submitted guides for SAGA. The guides may be about city management, game-play strategy or other topics that help new players who are just learning the game.
Silverlode Interactive is currently developing Saga for the PC, which is the worlds first collectible MMMORTS game. In Saga players will be able to collect armies, spells and weapons for use in massive online battles against other foes and rivals.
Surfer Girl says that The Godfather II will feature a deep online component somewhat akin to Grand Theft Auto IV. According to her, up until sometime last year, Mass Media was working on ports of Saint's Row and The Outfit, for Wii and PSP, respectively. She states that L.A. Noire is not being funded by Sony, who dropped the title and there is nothing stopping a 360 release.
