Wii - Sadness - Sadness delayed again, vaporware suspicions refuse to go away Since it was announced, one publisher has jumped ship, the game has been delayed on more than one occasion, and people have been dripped information and media (none of which hints at there being any real content) at a painfully slow pace.

NIBRIS has been monumentally unlucky, work on the game has ground to an ignominious halt for the time being, or Sadness -- gulp -- doesn't actually exist.

Things aren't about to get any rosier, either. In an email received by a NeoGAF poster, NIBRIS revealed that Sadness wouldn't be on shop shelves before 2009.

Wii - Sadness - New Sadness Info:  20 Hours of Gameplay and Full Orchestral Soundtrack Sadness developer Nibris has finally unearthed a few new bits of info regarding their upcoming physiological thriller for the Wii, Sadness.

The game will be seen through the eyes of two separate characters, one a 30 year old woman (of Polish-Hungarian descent), and the other her son. Around 18 species of monsters are expected, and will be confronted depending on which path players decide to take within the game.

Wii - Sadness - Sadness Development Continues Recent reports revealed that Nibris had lost Frontline Studios as its development partner for the upcoming project, Sadness. For some pessimists, this put the future of the title into doubt. Now, the ambitious company has very kindly informed Cubed3 that the recent changes are nothing to fret about, and has indicated that the project is going ahead as previously planned.

Wii - Sadness - New Sadness Wii details revealed The mysterious survival thriller for Wii will have to take on the roll of Maria having just survived a serious train crash, the latest issue of Game Informer reveals.

Maria has to watch over her little brother, Alexander, who was unfortunately blinded during the crash, but things take an X-Files-style turn when Alexander starts acting "odd".

Without weapons, Maria and Alexander have to make use of environmental objects in their struggle to survive the chilling events that await.

Even though gaming's largest trade show has come and gone, there was no mention of Nibris' off-the-wall Wii title Sadness. Exactly what kind of game this black-and-white creation will be, we're still not sure, but these new screens shed some light on what you may be doing. A few of these screens show the lead character holding what appears to be a black Wii wand. Nibris wants to draw players into the game's dark, moody world, and if Maria here is actually using a wand, that could be the trick. ...
