German developer Ascaron had recently closed its doors. Their latest game Sacred 2: Fallen Angel will be taken on by Deep Silver and Koch Media.

The LightFX system backlit Dell's now defunct XPS laptop line with numerous colors, while the LightFX SDK allowed developers to control these based on what was happening in the game.
Ascaron has announced the add-on Ice & Blood for Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel. According to PCGH the add-on will introduce a new character (Dragonmage) and deliver new features as well as two new areas.
"Ascaron still owns the license to Sacred, and it was not part of the IPs that Kalypso recently purchased from the troubled company."

NBC Universal Global Networks today announced that Koch Media Limited will sponsor the UK Sci Fi channel's primetime programming to tie in with the release of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.
