Wii - Okami - Capcom Senior Director Talks Okami for Wii Capcom's senior director of strategy, Christian Svensson, recently posted a few details on the upcoming Okami port for Wii. His several posts on the official Capcom forums reveal some interesting details on the Wii build, including the Wii control scheme, content in the Wii version, marketing plans, and possible US and European release dates.

Wii - Okami -  Okami Wii in Europe in summer  - source A man on the inside has told Eurogamer that Okami Wii will be out in Europe in summer. He sleeps in the walls.

His words scupper suggestions from retailers that it will be out the same week as the US version that arrives on 25th March.

Oct 23, 2007 It all makes sense. Okami was brilliant on PS2, its lush visuals and dreamy atmosphere combining to excellent effect and helping to make it one of the console's greatest games. Even the 'draw shape/line to trigger attack/event' gameplay, which could have been awkward, worked adequately with the analogue sticks. PS2 - Okami - Okami wins Edge award Capcom's Clover Studio colourful adventure wins UK magazine's coveted award at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival.

A jury of five games-industry staff have voted on their favourite title of the past 12 months in the annual Edge awards--and Okami picked up the winning gong.

The award ceremony, which was the final event of the first day of the Edinburgh Interactive Festival, was presented by deputy editor Alex Wiltshire.

Okami is one of PS2's best adventure games in our opinion and if designer Hideki Kamiya has anything to do with it, there'll be more epic wolf soon. Kamiya has a sequel in mind, and has revealed that it's something he'd really like to do. PS2 - Okami - Okami wins Japanese Art Award Early 2007 continues to be a time of recognition of all things 2006, as the results from awards shows continue to pile in. The latest comes from Japan Media Arts Plaza, an online hub of "creative activities and development of media arts."

On its Web site, the association recently announced its awards for 2006, which recognize achievements in "creative media art works" using technology.

Taking the grand prize in the entertainment division was artist Hideki Kamiyama for his work on Capcom's Okami. According to the judges, the award was given for its "beautiful graphics and distinct style of presentation."Play.
