PS3 News from N4G | LA Noire
PS3 - LA Noire - Rockstar's L.A. Noire listed for PS3 only in T2 report Those interested in gunning down finely-dressed gentlemen in dark, 1940's Los Angeles alleyways need to plan their future investments wisely. Between the cost of building a time machine and that of acquiring a PlayStation 3, we'd advise you to go with the latter -- it's considerably cheaper and won't run the risk of demolishing our current timeline. A recent Take-Two investor report confirms what many have suspected since Rockstar's L.A. Noire was first revealed, listing the game as a PS3 exclusive -- at least as far as the 2008 fiscal year is concerned.

This first full length trailer for L.A. Noire, Rockstar's next-gen private-eye adventure, isn't about to satisfy our appetite for gameplay details, but you can already sense the game's atmospheric credentials. From the trailer's street chase to the prickly jazz soundtrack to the "nothing to see here" cop attitude, L.A. Noire is looking suspiciously like L.A. Confidential. PS3 News | LA Noire
Monday 25 September 2006 Rockstar Games has lifted the lid on its latest project, LA Noire - a next-gen crime thriller that the publisher is billing as 'an interactive detective story set in the classic noir period of the late 1940s'. Developed by Australian-based studio, Team Bondi (which was founded by Brendan McNamara, director of Sony's cockney flavoured gangsta-'em-up, The Getaway), LA Noire promises a deadly cocktail of action and sleuthing as it invites the player into its open-ended ...

360 News | LA Noire
When bad boy publisher Rockstar announces anything, the gaming world tends to stop whatever it's doing and take notice. PC - La Tale - OGPlanet Running Halloween Promotion In La Tale WorldsinMotion: "The last time we mentioned OGPlanet's side-scrolling MMO La Tale it was in mid-September after the title launched -- and they announced that prepaid game cards for the title would be available in Blockbuster.

Since then the title has been rumbling along in its position as (perhaps) the most direct competitor to MapleStory currently available, and now OGPlanet has announced that they are running, throughout the month of October, "Beast Bingo" -- an unusual promotion where players must take screenshots of their character standing with 25 different monsters (thankfully, one at a time) and then arrange those in a 5x5 grid."
