With the fourth season of Lost premiering yesterday, it seems like it's prime time to give the Lost video game a little marketing push. And Ubisoft has done just that by releasing the official trailer for Lost: Via Domus.
Lost returns to television for its fourth season this Thursday. A month later, Lost: Via Domus, the first videogame based on the hit show, arrives in stores. To celebrate the return of Lost, IGN snagged the full Achievement List for Via Domus.
One of television's most popular (and cryptic) shows is about to become a videogame. Lost returns for a fourth season at the end of January and Lost: The Videogame hits shelves a month later on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Ubisoft, tasked with turning the well-known property into interactive entertainment, has been as secretive about the game as the show's creators are about the hit drama. But on the newly released Lost Season 3 DVD box set, there is a four-minute preview of the upcoming game. While the preview offers no video or screenshots (just concept art), it does reveal some new details.
Rumor has it that Dead Rising will be making its way to the PC, and Lost Planet will be getting a new expansion pack.
While Lost continues to be a major television hit, very little of its video game incarnation has been revealed. The first trailer was shown at Comic-Con 2007, giving a glimpse of what gamers can expect from the gamplay.
The latest issue of EGM has revealed some new details concerning Ubisoft's Lost adaptation:
Rumors have stirred in both the gaming and television community alike for months now about a LOST videogame. It's not a question about it being a reality; it most certainly exists. It's a matter of not knowing what the game will actually look/feel like, due to the super-tight-lipped producers of the show.
