After many wars between the humans and the combine most of the technology is destroyed so people and combine join forces against the only unaffected enemy - the undead. Of course not everyone is so happy about having the combine as a friends and you are.
Along with the GTAIV update next year, Halo 3: Recon could be one of the first games out of Microsoft that will be sold in retail and online at the same time. Half-Life 2 Episode 3 may also make its way to Xbox Live Marketplace.
Valve has confirmed to Joystiq that the individually boxed Orange Box PC games are due to hit physical shelves on April 9th. The separate SKUs, which will be available worldwide, consist of first-person puzzler Portal, caricatured multiplayer romp Team Fortress 2, and a crowbar double-whammy in the form of Half-Life 2: Episode One and Two. Valve has yet to officially announce pricing details, but retailers currently list Portal at $19.99 and the other two packages at $29.99 each.
