360 - Fable 2 - Molyneux would prefer to have HDD Peter Molyneux says that while he would prefer to have a hard disk to work with as standard, he believes that backing low-price console hardware is "really important".

"Given the choice, I'd obviously choose a hard drive every day of the week," he told Eurogamer in an interview published today.

"But the balance to that is you're supporting a system which is an awful lot cheaper.

360 - Fable 2 - More Fable 2 Details Revealed Peter Molyneux's eagerly awaited RPG Fable 2 will feature online coop, a first for the series. The game will also boast an Xbox Live Arcade title, Fable 2: Pub Games. Players who download pub games, then make fake money gambling on it will be able to transfer that money to their Fable 2 characters.

Also, your character will make money through gambling and having a job. Sounds fun(?). Also, female characters can get pregnant. Serious.

The Press Release also confirms to the Gears of War 2 to be exclusive to Xbox 360.

360 - Fable 2 - Rumor: Fable 2 ships May 30 According to a listing on the Amazon UK product page for Fable 2, the anticipated sequel to Peter Molyneux's original Xbox-exclusive role-playing game, a date has been set for a spring release. The listing shows Fable 2 will hit store shelves on May 30.

Take this with a giant retailer wants preorders grain of salt, but it could make sense. If Gears of War 2 was to hit in fall of 2008 then Fable 2 could be the game that leads into the fourth quarter push much like Crackdown did in 2007.

360 - Fable 2 - Fable 2 will meet expectations, says Microsoft Microsoft's Shane Kim has told his peers that Peter Molyneux won't be overhyping Fable 2 this time, claiming the game will live up to everyone's expectations. Speaking at D.I.C.E., MTV reports that Kim stated he's hoping that Fable 2 will be a bit of a looker.

"I hope Fable 2 is going to be really beautiful and that it will be considered the best-looking game," he stated.

"I'm trying to do [Peter Molyneux's] job a little bit, because Peter was accused of over-hyping Fable 1. And so we've been keeping Peter really focused. I obviously believe it's going to be a huge title."
