360 - Fable 2 - Earn Gold, Unlock Fable 2 Items with Web Games Kotaku having an interview with Lionhead Studiou's Sam Van Tilburgh earlier today, told that Pub Games will not be the only way to earn cash for Fable 2.

Sam Van Tilburgh told when the Official Website relaunches, it will include a webgame or two which will allow you to earn Fable 2 gold and will let you unlock items like dye pots and chicken suit's. Gamers will be able to unlock 6-7 special items through the website. You will be able to earn coins through the games, Van Tilburgh Said.

When asked the question if you can earn coins and/or items via Mobile games or Iphone games, Van Tilburgh was cagey about the possibility, but did say he would mention the idea to Peter Molyneux

360 - Fable 2 - Fable 2 Hours from Gold, Molyneux Awaits Reactions Fable 2 is days, if not hours from going gold, Lionhead Studio's Sam Van Tilburgh told Kotaku today. "We have one or two bugs that are keeping us from going gold," Van Tilburgh said.

Van Tilburgh was excited to finally give gamers a chance to check out the game for themselves at the Penny Arcade Expo and so is designer Peter Molyneux. "I've been talking to him about the reaction," he said. "He asks what the reaction to the game has been. What do they think about the combat."

Van Tilburgh said that 97 percent of the reaction has been very positive over the first two days of the show.

"Wondering how to transfer money into Fable 2 from the Xbox Live Arcade "Fable 2 Pub Games" due out tomorrow? Good news then, because Lionhead's been in touch to tell Eurogamer how it works.

When you begin one of the pub games, you pick a gambler to represent you across all of the challenges. We'll call ours "Bertie". You can stick with one of these or swap between multiple personalities, and we're told Lynch, Daphne, Maya, Mongo and Poe will be some of the faces on offer.

When you buy Fable 2 in October, create a hero - we'll call ours "Clert" - and then find a Gamesmaster either in a tavern or wandering wistfully down a road. Start playing whichever game variation the Gamesmaster offers, and you will be given the option to merge your hero ("Clert") with your gambler ("Bertie")."

Up until 2006, it was inarguably the single biggest, most important trade show and event in the entire game industry. This year, E3 returned to the hallowed halls of the Los Angeles Convention Center, but in a different way. The event itself no longer occupied the entire venue (restricting itself primarily to the central Concourse Hall), and it changed its name to the E3 08 Business and Media Summit. Still, there were plenty of very impressive games on hand, and GameSpot made sure to bring you live coverage every day of the show, both from our editorial writing team and from our live stage show, which broadcast demonstrations of the most exciting games at E3 2008--and exclusive demonstrations of a few other games that weren't at the show and couldn't be seen anywhere else.

360 - Fable 2 - Master Chief crash lands into Fable 2 If you noticed in the details to Fable 2's Collector's Edition, there was an "Otherworldly Bonus" for in-game content. Packaged with the announcement were screenshots, including one conspicuously labeled "Fable2_MasterChief.jpg." Yep, that's not just a coincidence, you're looking at a faux-medieval variant of the Halo superstar. (Halo 3 ending spoiler alert) I guess we know what universe he crash-landed in.

And here we thought Minstrel Chief was the only Halo reference we'd find. Fable 2 is coming October 21 for US and October 24 for Europe.
