Videogamer reports THQ has confirmed that Frontlines: Fuel of War, which is released across Europe on Friday, will support multiplayer games of up to 50 players on Xbox 360 - 64 for PC gamers. This makes it the first next-generation console title to offer such a large player count in online games.
THQ Inc. today announced Frontlines: Fuel of War has shipped to retail outlets worldwide for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows-based PC.

A member of the development team just confirmed the news from the Gamespot preview that the player cap on the xbox360 is now set to 50 p. There will be some servers dedicated too supporting up to 50 players. The previous limited was set at 32 players on the 360 while the PC had been and is still set at 64 players
Kaos Studios has officially confirmed that the ship date for Frontlines: Fuel of War will be February 25th, 2008 with digital distributions also being available on this date. The game is expected to hit retail shelves by February 26-29th for North America and Worldwide locations.
The achievements for THQ's upcoming shooter, Frontlines: Fuel of War have just been revealed and well... They're nothing special or out right original about them and seem very plain.
THQ sent over a note announcing that an official PC multiplayer demo for their upcoming first person shooter Frontlines: Fuel of War will be released on March 11. The demo will contain an all new map, "Invasion" in addition to the final version of the "Oilfield" map. The current multiplayer beta test for the game will end on Monday at 11 pm EST. The final version of the game will be released for the PC and Xbox 360 on Feb. 25.
