Lionhead Studios released a patch for the Fable 2 Pub Games that resets the Fortunes Tower leaderboards and fixes the famous gold exploit.
The parade of bloviation about the Fable II Pub Games exploit just will not die down. Of course, first Peter Molyneux said that cheaters would be "in for a surprise" if they tried to transfer their ill-gotten wealth to Fable II, once it releases. Then a couple sites spotted something curious in IGN's Fable II preview, in which Molyneux implied the glitch was actually a deliberate inclusion. Now Lionhead Studios has put out a patch, although someone is claiming that drive maintenance will reactivate the exploit.
Console Monster writes: "We have just added the Achievements for Fable 2 on the Xbox 360. The list rewards players for completing certain activities within the game or seeing another Hero do so. The list is identical to the leaked list back in August but we have the images for the full list.
MCV: Lionhead Studios boss Peter Molyneux has spoken of his concerns over the restrictive nature of 'core' and 'casual' games – adding that development of the latter 'are frowned on a bit'.

Eurogamer writes: "Peter Molyneux has claimed that the Fable 2 Pub Games glitch, which allowed bets to be increased ten-fold by some timely button pressing, was absolutely intentional.

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has rated Lionhead's Fable II as a 15 certificate. This may not be such a bad thing for gore lovers as you'll find from the report produced by the BBFC.
Gamers are a vocal bunch, and Lionhead Studios' fans are no different.
