360 News from N4G | Frogger - Xbox Live Arcade
360 - Frogger - Xbox Live Arcade - Frogger Hops Across Xbox Live Arcade Nestled within the various Marketplace menus on the PartnerNet, IGN discovered a old-school quarter-devouring distraction. It was Frogger, the staple of greasy pizza shops and sweaty sports arenas everywhere. Its concept is simple. Taking control of a pixilated frog, he's guided across a heavily trafficked road and a river to safety in the bushes on the other side. The adventure isn't without obstacles. Sports cars and semi trucks threaten to squish Frogger into quivering bits. Once across the road, the river can only be navigated across by hopping across a series of moving logs and turtles. Like many of its early arcade predecessors, timing is key for getting high scores, and despite it's simple appearance and design the game requires plenty of practice to be successful.

PSP News | From Russia With Love
EA has released new screens of 007's PSP debut as From Russia with Love gets ported to the Sony handheld. It was last year that EA announced that it was bringing its latest Bond adventure to PSP and it seems to have survived the conversion with all of its features intact, the main change being that now there is a four-player mode using the handheld's WiFi capability. The game is based on the classic 1963 Bond film but EA has felt free to pack the game with events and action sequences that ...

PS2 News | From Russia With Love
From Electronic Arts with more of a brisk handshake than a gentle throbbing in the loins, comes this new batch of revealing screens of James Bond 007 From Russia With Love. Famous as the only 007 flick in which our hero doesn't say "Bond, James Bond", these shots reveal just how far the game aims to drift from Fleming's original script by offering jet pack levels, battles around Big Ben and, yes, that famous line. But then, with four-player split screen deathmatches and six modes including ...

Xbox News | From Russia With Love
We've that EA's next Bond outing is to feature the vocals and likeness of Bond veteran Sean Connery for the videogame version of one of his better Bond films, From Russia with Love. Well, now we've seen it in action and can comfortably speculate wildly that this may very well be EA's best Bond game yet. And that's not just because the polygonal variation of Brosnen's dislikeable Bond has been dropped. Particularly noteworthy moments come from action involving a jet pack and a fight with a ...

Xbox News | From Russia With Love
While Bond fans will no doubt be rejoicing at the that EA are in the process of developing the 1963 espionage high jinks of From Russia with Love, they may be slightly dubious of how accurately the game will follow Fleming's original storyline after seeing the first batch of shots from the game. While Connery's likeness seems to have been accurately captured, the fact that the sharp-suited secret service agent is seen bombing around in a jet-pack would seem to suggest that the publisher will ...

Xbox News | From Russia With Love
Despite being older than many fully-grown trees, Sean Connery is going to be Bond again, although this time his age won't matter (unlike when he returned to play Bond in 1983's Never Say Never Again - ouch), as he'll only be providing his voice. Even though Roger Moore is by far the better Bond (don't tut, he so is), and, as such, EA should've chosen to resurrect both him and one of his films, EA has drafted in Connery to add an authentic vocal contribution to the publisher's videogame ...
