360 - Call of Duty 2 - Activision Releases Call of Duty 2 GOTY Edition in the UK Providing fans of the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft with access to fresh, new content and behind-the-scenes access to the # 1 hit title, Activision, Inc., today announced the release of Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year for the UK market. In addition to Infinity Ward's original Call of Duty 2 game, the special retail edition will also include a token that can be redeemed for the recently released Call of Duty 2: Skirmish Map Pack, two new multiplayer maps (a 400 Microsoft Point value) currently available through Xbox Live Marketplace. Call of Duty2: Game of the Year will also include a bonus DVD containing "making of" footage, historic interviews and commentaries and mission walkthroughs from the developers at Infinity Ward.

Wednesday 3 May 2006 Activision and developer Infinity Ward have announced that new multiplayer maps for Call of Duty 2 on Xbox 360 will be available for download next week. A total of nine new maps have been created with the first four available to play at next week's E3.
