The hop-hop star is getting a new video game this year, one that takes him to new platforms, a new game developer and a whole new role. And for anyone who wasn't satisfied with 2005's multimillion-selling "Bulletproof," the game's producer hears you. This one is going to be better.

"Blood on the Sand" is something more exotic, more Hollywood blockbuster. This game sets 50's character against a cabal of international gangsters on a far-flung, bullet-riddled adventure.

Interweb whispers currently suggest that work is underway on a PS2 and Xbox game starring 50 Cent (or around 26p at today's exchange rate). PS3 - 8 Days - More Media From Canceled PS3 Game 'Eight Days' Surfaces You may recall hearing early last year that Sony ceased development on both The Getaway and Eight Days in order to shift resources to projects closer to completion.

Shortly after some test footage of Eight Days was released by a former Sony London employee and today we've revived even more media.
