Wii Feature | EA Sports Active

EA Sports Active is officially not a game. It's a fitness program for Wii. We got sent a copy - complete with leg strap and funky stretchy band thing- so we thought we'd indulge in a little 20 minute workout. By the time we'd finished we were one big soggy sweat sack of quivering muscles. But we'd burnt some calories and had some fun doing it. So we had the brilliant idea of making a video of us going for the burn with EA Sports Active. And ...

360 Feature | EA Sports MMA

EA announced it would be entering into the world of mixed martial arts at E3 this year by showing off an MMA logo and little else. It was enough, however, to have fans wondering how the hell EA could pull off a MMA game in the face of UFC, which has a stranglehold on the world's most recognisable fighters and a sucessful game license already being looked after by THQ.

360 Feature | Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard
360 - Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard - Master Chef? It's parody time in Eat Lead

Eat Lead: the Return of Matt Hazard is looking like being a solid third-person shooter. But what might elevate it above the crowd is its unique plot, which features homages to several videogame staples. And there's a fair few chuckles to be had ...

360 Feature | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Some games are utterly timeless. Super Mario Bros is still perfect. Soul Calibur 1 is still beautiful. But this is GR’s Week of Hate, after all. So here are the once-great games that might shock you if you play them today. ...

PS3 Feature | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Every new platform needs an "It" game. Like the bleach-blond and bleach-toothed starlets who preen and pout and draw clouds of admirers like desert birds to a carcass, a triple-A powerhouse videogame will attract more fun-hungry gamers to a new console than any number of lectures on the hardware's tetrafloppys, quadumaflips or ultrabits. And even the ever-so-slightly techno-crazy Kaz Hirai can't argue with that. We've finally cozied up to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on PS3, and, while it ...

360 Feature | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
For some people, vacations are a time to relax. Not us. When we check out of reality and go on an extended holiday in the fantasy land of Cyrodiil, we want action and lots of it. We want to find new and interesting ways to practically kill ourselves that no sane mortal would dare attempt. The beauty of Oblivion is that if you can see it, you can generally go there, somehow, even if it involves incredible risk and searing pain. It's that spirit that drives our daredevil guide to The Elder ...

PC Feature | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Some people are never satisfied, but we love it when someone takes something great and makes it even better. Pioneering upgraders like Pamela Anderson and the boys at Orange County Choppers would take one look at WWE's Stacy Kiebler and say to themselves, "I wonder if we could make her legs even longer?" These are our heroes - and they exist in the gaming community as well. They are called Modders. Modders are folks who make, well, modifications to popular PC games. Like the legendary mod of ...
