Nintendo TVii will be coming to 'selected regions' in 2013, allowing you to watch certain TV services on your Wii U. The multi-function app will allow users to browse and watch live television, connect with TiVo set top boxes and stream on-demand catch-up services as well as 'sources you subscribe to'.
The service was expected to be ready for Wii U's launch, but has already been pushed back to December in North America, now to be made available as a free downloadable update. Exact dates for either territory have yet to be made concrete, but Nintendo promises more details in due course.
Wii U launches in the UK on November 30.
