It was hardly a secret, but here it is anyway: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is coming to Nintendo Switch. Bethesda Game Studios boss Todd Howard appeared in a video at the Switch reveal event to confirm that the beloved open-world game is coming to Nintendo's next console.
The presentation only called the game Skyrim, so it sounds like the visual improvements and mod support that arrived as part of Skyrim Special Edition won't be included for Switch. This lines up with the rumors we've heard about the console having relatively limited processing power next to PS4 and Xbox One.
Skyrim was featured prominently in the initial Switch reveal video, but Nintendo was quick to note that all of the featured games were included for demonstration purposes only. Even though it would have been super weird if they were just mock-ups.
