To do this trick you have to have both controllers in th ps. first pick any game mode(exhibition, season, or playoffs). next put the controllers on the team you are and the computers team. then start the game. before playing pause the game with the #2 controller. next go to goalie and scroll right until it says "pull". unpause the game. wait until you see the goalie leave and go to the bench. score 1 goal and pause the game again with the #2 controller. go to user setup or the menu where you put the controllers on the different teams.put the #2 controller in the middle of the controller select screen.lastly unpause the game with the #1 controller and play. if done right you will be able to score goals all day long without worrying about a goalie saving the puck.

The create the perfect players all you have to do is go to "create player" and give your player a name of anyone of the creators of "NHL 99" and a screen should pop up asking if you want the current ratings for the player. Go to Yes. your player should be perfect. If you want the perfect team create and entire team of perfect players. Make sure all the creators are different or else it wont work.
