Note: these codes are implemented by typing in the code name in the Credits
screen. All of the codess are supported in multiplayer - for season play
only those codes which don't affect AI are enabled (bighead, night, squeaky,
barrywhite)

Taunt Opponent
When you score a goal or win a fight hold Z (Big hit/deke). Then you will hear the taunt. There a many taunts, have fun!
You can also taunt your opponent when you win a game using the deke/check button. Also, if you tap the deke/check button fast and a lot of times, the commentator will say a comment.

Free Powerplay
When you get into a fight DON'T touch anything
at all and wait for the CPU to kick your butt after that he'll get a 5 minute major and 9 times out of 10 a game misconduct but you will also get a penalty, don't worry it'll only be a 2 minute minor for roughing.

To get an amazing player here is what you do.
Go to Create player and for the name put in either Peter Forsberg, Pavel Bure, or John Leclair. Set there attributes to whatever you want but don't change some stuff(Like there playing type or position). After go back to Edit player and change their there name to whatever you want.

In player management, create a player and enter the name Wayne Gretzky and when you are done go to the jersey number and you will be able to use his number, but you can't change his name or it will put the number to 98. After you set the number, go to stats and set them the way you like them.

Go into rosters, player management, and create a player. Once there,type in the name of a player who already has 99 or something in the 90's overall. It will tell you that there is already a player with this name, and if you would like to create a player like him,
go for yes and then you can change his name and the stats the way you like them, but don't change his type of playing or anything else that is important or it will change his stats back to regular.

Go to the create player menu type in the name of any original player in the game (The best one you can think of) it will ask you a question answer yes. The player will have the same numbers as the original. Then you trade for better players or just stack your team without trades.

step 4 type the exact name of who you want
step 5 if you typed there name correctly a screen will pop up saying this player is already in the data base, bla bla bla would you like to create him anyways , pick yes and put him on ur team........usually use players like Jagr,Karia,Foresberg,Sakic ect. have fun with ur all star team

During the faceoff before the ref drops the puck hold A so the highlight thing under the player goes to the goalie and the computer takes the fac-off and it wins almost every time.

when u r taking the face off, keep your eyes on the ref, he will look at both of the centers, then drop the puck. right after he looks at both of the centers press 'A'

Real Easy Goals
This is the easiest way that i've found to score goals. All you have to do is skate in on the goalie, wind-up, and release the shot right in front of the crease. The puck should go in right between the legs;the goalie won't even flinch.

(This cheat will only work in season mode) Click on commisioner, once your there click on options, than once you see the option pc trade and if it says yes, than click on it and it should turn to no.Now clik done, now you can trade get players for free. If you have this on other teams will not perpose trades with you.

More easy goals
To score an easy goal get a 2 on 0. Have one player pass the puck to the other before your to close to the crease. Do not shoot the puck but hold it long enough so that the goalie thinks your going to shoot and he slides on his knees. Once he does this pass the puck to the first player and shoot high and far post.It takes practice but once you get it down there's no stoping you.
