New Transformers: War for Cybertron trailer arrives in time for demo

Video shows off the game's nifty multiplayer which you can taste in demo form now

Hey, remember the preview we wrote last week about how fun the multiplayer was in Transformers: War for Cybertron? For those who missed it click here, but the gist of it was that it took some great concepts from other multiplayer games, like Call of Duty and Gears of War, replaced meathead soldiers with robots in disguise, which are then baked in ‘80s nostalgia. Well, now you guys out there can get a similar taste, as a multiplayer demo just went live on 360 (sorry PS3 players).

Just as the Cybertron refugees hurtled towards Earth in the original cartoon, the game itself is fast approaching, and of what we played, we can at least vouch that the multiplayer is worth a try. You’ll be seeing a review in the coming weeks, but until then, see if a taste of the multiplayer grabs your attention like it did ours.
