New trailer for Zero Dark Thirty: watch now

Zero Dark Thirty has released a brand new trailer introducing us to Jessica Chastain's character, badass CIA operative Maya, as she goes on the hunt for Osama Bin Laden.

The film follows the build-up to the Navy SEAL operation that saw the notorious terrorist cornered and killed in his safehouse in Pakistan, with the narrative switching between the soldiers on the ground and the national defence suits in their offices.

This latest trailer gives us the best impression yet of what we can expect from the film, fleshing out a couple of the key players while also showing off some of the explosive, nerve-shredding action.

Take a look, below…

Pretty exciting, right? And if Jessica Chastain's Carrie Mathison impression isn't enough to get the adrenaline pumping, the addition of a children's choir singing Metallica's Nothing Else Matters surely will be.

Directed by Kathryn Bigelow and co-starring Mark Strong, Kyle Chandler and Joel Edgerton, Zero Dark Thirty opens in the UK on 25 January 2013.
