New Star Wars: The Last Jedi characters played by Benicio del Toro and Laura Dern revealed in set photos

Lately it seems that with each passing day, we learn a little bit more about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. For instance, thanks to a new set of photos from Vanity Fair, we have our first look at Benicio del Toro and Laura Dern's characters.

We still don't know his full name (though he goes by "DJ"), but here's del Toro looking smouldering and rogueish. He looks like a guy that can get things done, but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could Force Throw him.

At least we know more about Laura Dern's character, Amilyn Holdo. Holdo is part of the Resistance - she holds rank as an Admiral, in fact. Her appearance seems more prequel-y than many of the other characters' designs, which makes me think she may be something of a socialite.

Hopefully we'll get a more in-depth look at these characters soon. But until then, feel free to scope out some more familiar faces from the Vanity Fair shoot, and dream along with us over the rumors of Luke going full-on beast mode.
