New poster and image for The Man With The Iron Fists

The Man With The Iron Fists has released a new poster, featuring its ensemble cast, and RZA in particular, looking badass in the extreme.

The film will follow RZA's titular blacksmith through his life in feudal China, as he makes weapons for a small village. All is peaceful until the arrival of a host of aggressors forces our hero into battle to protect both himself and the villagers.

A new image has also been released, showing the man himself in action. If you take a look below, you can see him punching some poor sod's eyeball clean out of its socket. Lovely stuff.

That's about all we know in terms of plot details, save for the fact that Russell Crowe will play a character known as The Baddest Man Alive. His ego should enjoy that, if nothing else.

The new poster shows Crowe and RZA joined by Lucy Liu, Rick Yune, Jamie Chung, Byron Mann and Cung Le, each of whom looks ready for a scrap. And scrapping should be plentiful, if the tagline "you can't spell kung fu without F and U" is to be believed.

RZA has co-written the script with Eli Roth and will also be directing the film, while Quentin Tarantino has also lent his name to the project, as the film's "presenter". The Man With The Iron Fists opens in the UK later this year, but in the meantime, check out the full poster below...
