New Metal Gear book celebrates Peace Walker’s artworks

Set for release on April 29, “Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Official Artworks” is a collection of work from Metal Gear Solid series art director Yoji Shinkawa. Shinkawa was recently honored for his work in January at the Konami Style shop in Tokyo Midtown with an exhibit that featured his 3D sculptures and 2D prints inspired by Metal Gear.

This is only the latest in the long running Metal Gear “official artworks” series. As you would expect, it will feature prints of his art inspired by the work he did on the latest Metal Gear game, Peace Walker.

This book is only being published in Japan, but resourceful fans elsewhere in the world should have no problem importing it from Amazon Japan (conveniently translated into English for you.) The book retails for ¥3,045 yen, which works out to about $37 dollars.
