New GTA IV shots tease trailer

Can you feelthe tension in the air right now? That's the internet bracing to explode tomorrow, when the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV goes live. Starting at 9 a.m. Pacific time, you'll be able to see it at Yahoo! Games andRockstar's website, and then everywhere else -including GamesRadar - an hour later. Luckily, you don't have to wait that long to start speculating madly about what it all means, because we've got two new screens to give you an idea of what's in store whenthe new trailer- titled "Looking for That Special Someone" - finally arrives.

You can see them both below (or click the Images tab above to see them full-size); the first shows our anti-hero, Niko Bellic, grimacing as he flees from a cop and a menacing guy in a really big parka. The second looks to be Niko - or some other criminal - nonchalantly fleeing the scene after blowing the reinforced steel door off a bank vault. What other exciting new things couldlie in store? Will we finally get to see some action?Be here tomorrow morning at 10 to find out.

Above: This ranks right up there with Max Payne's frozen squintfor themostpainedexpression we've ever seen on a videogame character

Above: Niko (or someone who looks like him from behind, in the dark) walks away from a successful heist. Note the satisfyinglyfull duffel bag and twisted vault door in the foreground

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
