I know no one else cares but I'm waiting for Lego Marvel

I haven't heard anything about another ZoE in a long time, but keep your eye on Phantom Pain. It might magically become MGS5 when you least expect it. ;D

This list is pretty solid, but I still want to see a few games that we haven't heard anything about yet, namely: next Zelda, next Metroid, next Star Fox, and whatever Retro Studios is scheming will always be a 10/10. Oh, and Half-Life I guess, but that's just a pipe dream at this point... Oh, and I like that Dead Space 3 picture. Why is Isaac bundles for cold weather when his suit could always withstand the atmosphere of space? I don't think that fur collar will make that much of a difference. Looks cool though. xD

Don't know why that posted twice... >_>

Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 is very high on my most wanted list. The original LoS is easily one of my favourite games this gen. An epic heart-tugging story, glorious enviroments, a sweet light magic/dark magic combat system, awesome boss battles and a simply stunning soundtrack. I'm eager to see where the story goes now what we'll be playing as big bad Dracula himself. "Have at you!" The Last of Us is bound to be awesome too, and I'm interested in DmC and Tomb Raider. An Assassins Creed 3 prequel starring Hatham Kenway would be cool, considering he's the only character I gave one shite about in AC3. Oh yeah, now I've had some time to pour over the trailer and get swept up in the hype, I'm MASSIVELY excited for the next Pokemon games! I'm currently playing through Black 2 and I love it, but I'd love to see X and Y shake up the formula and bring in a whole host of improvements (character creation/customisation pleeeeeeeease!). I'll keep my eye on Lightning Returns: FFXIII, even if the trailer is pretty underwhelming at this point. I really enjoyed the first two games, so I'm obligated to play the new one if only to see how the story wraps up.

Oh man, that top 20 is so good looking and considering how many unannounced games there might be, even consoles, I have a feeling 2013 will be insane.

101: ANY mention of HL3 or Episode 3
  • Shadow Of Death - January 11, 2013 7:03 a.m.

No Starbound? I am disappoint. Some of the games on the list are ones I'm looking forward to a fair bit though, yeah.

Hotline Miam 2 and Plants vs Zombies 2. Enough said.
  • Ljrepresent - January 11, 2013 8:48 a.m.

    I got you hombre

Fallout 4!! They are making another Fallout, right?
  • shawksta - January 11, 2013 10:42 a.m.

Surprisingly NOPE or atleast not yet announced, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon doesn't count as a "Mario game"

Top 5 is solid. I cannot stop watching the Watch Dogs gameplay trailer. The only way this game will be played with this quality in 2013 (if it is released in 2013) is if it is on PC (and said PC is one serious rig). Also, can't wait to play Last of Us. I love the Uncharted trilogy and this game looks pretty amazing. I will be happy in 2013. Probably going to pick up one of the latest handhelds coming out this year that runs Android so I can have a nice portable emulator. All-in-all not a bad year.

There's an awful lot of under-whelming games on the list. Kind of surprised Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn wasn't on the list anywhere considering how SE is trying to change the way MMO companies handle underwhelming subscriptions instead of going F2P and how the company plans on rebuilding trust in the whole Final Fantasy franchise with the game's innovations.

My year in games: BioShock Tomb Raider Metal Gear Rising Remember Me

Love the irony of calling games that have yet to come out underwhelming. And then expect people to anticipate the reworking of a game that was universally acknowledged to be underwhelming.

For some reason I agree with your first pick. :) Infinite has been my most anticipated game since the millisecond it has been announced. Other than that I've got The Last of Us, Tomb Raider and Ni No Kuni, all preordered. I'll keep an eye on The Last Guardian, hoping it gets a release date someday... That's about it for 2013...
