A new Fantastic Four TV spot has popped up online, showing off the titular quartet’s superhuman abilities, as soundtracked by man of the hour Kanye’s West’s pounding track, Power.
Whereas much of the previous promotional material has focused on the film’s “dark” and “grounded” sensibilities, this latest spot decides to adopt a more light-hearted tone, with Fox amping up the excitement to deliver blockbusting superhero spectacle.

It may be a departure from previous trailers, but it’s nice to see the studio acknowledge that while dramatic clout is all well and good, the majority of the film’s audience will be showing up to see a giant rock monster and a man made of flames. Directed by Josh Trank and co-starring Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Miles Teller and Jamie Bell, Fantastic Four will open in the UK on 6 August 2015 and the US the following day.
