Confirmed: New Deadpool trailer landing on Christmas Day

After Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Deadpool has probably been the best marketed upcoming film this year, thanks in large part to the seemingly unending efforts and enthusiasm of its star Ryan Reynolds. The actor has been a hit on social media with various Instagram and Twitter posts doing a great job of getting people excited about the first solo film for Marvel's popular anti-hero, and it looks like we're going to get another look at some new footage before the year is out.

A promo which ran on ESPN's Sportscenter last night teased that a new Deadpool trailer will air during an NBA game on Christmas Day. The news has since been confirmed by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld on Instagram...

With only two months until the film is released, here's hoping the footage won't be too revealing...

Directed by Tim Miller and starring Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller and Gina Carano, Deadpool will open in UK cinemas on February 4, 2016 before arriving in US theatres on February 12, 2016.
