Mortal Kombat XL bundles every character and skin in March

If you want to play every Mortal Kombat X character but would rather not futz around with all that DLC business, Mortal Kombat XL is X-actly what you need. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios today announced they will release an all-in-one edition of their bone-smashing, gut-spilling fighting game in early March.

Mortal Kombat XL includes the base game, everything from the original Kombat Pack, everything from Kombat Pack 2 (including the upcoming Xenomorph from Alien and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and yes, even former pre-order bonus character Goro. You'll also get every single Skin Pack, so you can make Johnny Cage wear a jersey for a team you don't like before you punch his head off.

You have a month and a half to limber up your thumbs (proper stretching is a must before inputting fatality commands): Mortal Kombat XL will hit PS4 and Xbox One on March 1 in North America and March 4 in Europe. WBIE didn't specify a price, but given the extra goodies and its arrival just under a year after the original version, I'm expecting the usual $59.99 / £49.99.
