Fatalities aren't the only things you get to customize. Armageddon will finally bring a create-a-player mode, where you'll not only select the look of your fighter but their attacks, taunts, and finishing moves as well. Mix and match moves to create your own fighting style, then take your custom player online and test your might. Unfortunately, you won't be able to plug that fighter into the revamped single-player Konquest mode. A new character (still something of a secret) will be introduced for that, and he'll be able to fight mobs of 10 to 15 opponents at a time. It's gonna get messy.
Honestly, we don't think this is the end of Mortal Kombat - just the end of this string of sequels. And hey, after 13 years of gimmicks, gore, and guys yelling “Get over here!” it's about time we had actual closure to this sloppy soap opera. Expect the franchise to be reborn on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 - which means that just about anything can happen in Armageddon.
